We are Pony Club situated between Wamuran, Woodford and Mt Mee situated on about 8 acres of council parkland on Bleakley Road, Delaney's Creek and we cater for riders of any age.
We currently have 70 members that have joined our club in 2009 and of them 53 are riding members and 17 are social members
Our Members currently range from 2years to 76years of age and all enjoy attending our club.
We have members from the local area as well as Mt Mee, Kilcoy, Kallangur, Caboolture and Morayfield .
The club has 4 level 'C' and 2 level 'O' instructors who can teach a variety our disiplines ranging from Sporting, Dressage, Jumping, Mt. Games, and Tentpegging. We also have members that will also be obtaining there instructors certificates in 2010.
Our muster days are held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month from February to November starting from 9am till 2pm. At the start of our muster day a gear check is preformed by one of our instructors and each member is awarded points which are added up for the member with highest muster points trophy at our end of year presentation night. Points are awarded for your Horse, Gear, Rider and Attendance.
CANTEEN:
Our canteen operates from 8-30am for the early arrivals until the close of the days muster with a great variety of food and drinks such as Burgers, Toasted Sandwiches, Pies and Sausage Rolls, Ice Creams, Potato Crisps and Lollies as well as Tea and Coffee, Drinks and occasionally home made cakes and slices.
ALL MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE:
Members must attend a minimum of one quarter of the years musters as well as 10 hours of working bees to be eligible for any club trophies at our end of year presentation night. You must attend at least 7 hours of these at gazeted club working bees and 3 hours may be put in the book as work done outside of the gazeted working bees, if you choose to use the book it must be presented at the next gereral meeting to be approved by the committee. Members must also help out at any fundraising that the club does during the year eg: Chocolate drives, Raflles ect. All funds raised goes back into YOUR club for new equipment.
Club Membership:
All Junior members [under 18yrs] Joining the club must also have a parent/Gaurdian join the club either as a Riding or Social Member.
Membership is from 1st January to 31st December and you MUST be a financial member to use the grounds.
